Six Degrees – A Faylene Kevin

This week is the third of the full interviews and I’m very excited to release this full conversation. I’ve known Kevin in varying degrees for the last decade plus. I actually met him while I was interning at a now defunct indie record label in Boston. They were putting on these huge show/events with like 20 bands and one of the first ones was Kevin’s then band “A Faylene Sky”. We lost touch for a bit and then I found his current band, under their old name “It Lives, It Breathes”, and it was like I’d just seen him yesterday. Kevin is still fronting this band under their new name “Damn Nation”. I’ll give you the details on where to find them after the interview. Kevin is an absolutely fantastic singer and front man. Not only that, he’s a really great friend. He’s come onto my other podcast “Geek Ronin” and “We The Geek” to talk comic and pop culture with us and is ever knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. Kevin is driven, hardworking, funny, articulate, opinionated and sometimes can be an asshole but honestly who isn’t? It is always a pleasure to talk to the man and this conversation was no exception, enjoy. You can find Kevin and his band on social media, just search for Damn Nation on Facebook/twitter/instagram and at and you can follow him on IG as well at @iamkevinlacerda. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. These two seasons are a good start but I think this can be even better with the newer seasons in the works. Thanks to Danny Roman of Successfully Failing Studios for the artwork. You can follow him on Instagram @therealdannydarko and on Twitter @iamdannydarko. Thanks to Uncle Sam from LFOD, (and the first season), for letting me use the song “You Can Still Call” off of 24in24. The song was written and performed by Time and Lepp and produced by Pure Fact. You can find that and other music on their SoundCloud and you can also listen to LFOD Radio, (which I produce), on the very same app you’re listening to this podcast on, just hit subscribe and listen. Thanks again. And remember: Love, Life and whatever the case is…
